Changing Things Up A Bit

I am considering renovating my dining chairs. I would like to change the pattern to match my new decor. I am also thinking about changing the color of the wood. I would like to sand them and stain them a different color to match the rest of my furniture in my house. I also want the cushions to match my other furniture as well. I will be taking them apart, so I don’t make a mess. This will be fun, a little time consuming, but when I get done, I will have something I can be very proud of. I have checked into getting the chairs done professionally, but the prices are outrageous, and I wouldn’t get the same gratification, as if I were to do it myself. I decided to do it myself, so I can be proud, and it will make good conversation when I have guests over.

I work for lawyer who told me last month he was thinking of giving up his business. He just can’t seem to make ends meet, and he isn’t getting any new clients. I am being selfish, but I don’t want to lose this job as he’s a great guy to work for.

Last summer I moved to a small apartment in Paris so I could attend culinary arts school in the fall. I am from the United States, so the move was a very big life change for me, as well as my family. My first few days there were rather lonely, and the thought of moving back home crossed my mind numerous times within those few days.
